Please note that on July 26th, President Javier Milei has announced that the export duties on soybeans, beef and poultry, corn, sorghum and sunflower will be permanently lowered and remain this way all throughout his presidency.

The new duty rates, effective immediately, reduce beef and poultry export taxes from 6.75 % to 5 %, corn and sorghum from 12 % to 9.5 %, sunflower from about 7.5 % to 5.5 %, soybeans from 33 % to 26 % and soybean by‑products from 31 % to 24.5 %. Grain exporters praised the permanence of these reductions, arguing they will encourage greater production.

In short:

·      Beef and Poultry: from 6,75% to 5%
·      Corn and Sorghum: from 12% to 9,5%
·      Sunflower: from 7,5% to 5,5%, and in some cases to 4%
·      Soybean: from 33% to 26%
·      Soy by-products: from 31% to 24,5%
