Agroindustry slows sales abroad and justifies changes in soybean withholding.

The Ministry of Agribusiness has suspended until Thursday the registration of declaration of sales abroad (DJVE) together with the official decision to modify the withholdings taxed soymeal and soybean oil.

The measure was published in the Official Gazette through Resolution 249 of Agroindustria. This measures states that since its publication until "2400 hrs on Thursday, August 16" the possibility of no foreign sales of soymeal, pellets, oils and other subproducts containing soy was suspended.

The decision sought to prevent exporters from going massively to formalize closed businesses in the previous to the change of scheme of soybeans withholding that this morning announced the Ministry of Finance.

Today, soybeans pay 26% and their derivatives 23%, except biodiesel, which is 18%.
